Hi! I’m Zach, a Stanford graduate with a degree in film and media studies and a minor in education. I’ve been teaching writing for several years and absolutely love working one-on-one with students. I especially enjoy personal statements, college essays, and writing that highlights a personal voice. When I’m not teaching or writing, I love running, skiing, and hiking.

Other Interests & Activities: At Stanford, I was involved in Flying Horse Films, a student film production group that I co-founded and led for multiple years. I also directed Flying Treehouse, a performance/education group that teaches creative writing at local elementary schools and adapts their stories into sketches. I participated in Club Running, Wind Symphony, and the famous Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band :)
