Truman

Hi! I’m Truman, and I’m a Molecular and Cell Biology major at UC Berkeley with a strong interest in medicine and science. I am a general chemistry lab TA here at UC Berkeley, and I value the opportunity it gives me to help my students build confidence in both themselves and their chemistry skills. I’ve worked with elementary and high school students for years, and I love seeing my students become more independent and learn to approach problems on their own. I am especially comfortable tutoring biology, chemistry, and math, and I love finding creative ways to explain concepts based on each student’s interests and learning style.

Outside the classroom, I serve as a lead for my school’s Lion Dance team, and I also enjoy working out, playing basketball, and cooking. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in medicine, where I can continue learning and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
