SiTian

My name is SiTian, I hail from North New Jersey, and I am currently in the midst of my undergraduate education at Princeton University. I began tutoring the summer of my junior year of high school helping some of the local high school students in my town prepare for the SATs. I continued that experience the summer of my senior year, working for a test prep company in New York City. This time I worked with classes of twenty or so middle school and high school students, again on the SATs.

I have found tutoring to always be an opportunity for exploration. Every time I work with a student I have to pay close attention to and break down my own thought processes. Thus, I can always come away with a better understanding of myself and a better understanding of whatever subject I am working with.

I am most interested in the humanities and social sciences, and I hope I can one day possess a career in fields related to either subject.

Outside school and work, I am a lover of musicals and a flute player, and I enjoy nothing more than curling up with a good book and a strong cup of tea.
