Hi! I’m Sara, and I graduated from the University of Chicago, where I studied Anthropology and Linguistics with a specialization in Archaeology. The subjects I tutor include test prep (SAT/ACT), college essay writing, English, Humanities, US History, World History, European History, Anthropology, and Earth Science/Geology.
I am experienced in tutoring reading comprehension skills, writing, historical research and analysis, and grammar. I’d love to help you with whatever you’re writing, whether it be for college applications, AP English and History exams, or anything else! I believe in building overall writing and analytical skills that can apply to anything you work on in the future, and I hope that I can help you read and write at an exemplary level.
I currently work in Sacramento in Cultural Resource Management, where I assist in environmental conservation and historical archaeology.
In my free time, I love to play violin, dance, and watch ice hockey!
