Hi! My name is Ryan, and I’m a current Ph.D Student at the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated from Princeton in the Class of 2019. Having always been characterized as a teacher, I like tutoring: it gives me an opportunity to pay it forward and keep my skills sharp.

After many years with Princeton Tutoring, I’ve tutored more than 50 students in fields from AP Economics, to World History, to Writing, to Logic, to Mathematics. I have tutored some 800+ hours. I generally tend to specialize in AP Histories, Economics, and ACT/SAT/SSAT. I have tutored some seventy-five students. I see consistent improvement from my students, and I generally have a relatively active and focused tutoring style.

At Princeton, I was a varsity coxswain for the Lightweight Men’s Crew team, as well as a senior opinion columnist for the Daily Princetonian. I co-founded the Princeton Philosophy Society and served on the Ad-Hoc Committee for the Classroom Learning Environment. I was a TA for Introduction to Logic. My thesis was on the impermissibility of exploitation.

My recent GRE scores saw me with perfect scores in Verbal and Writing with math not too far behind. I plan on pursuing a Philosophy Ph.D and potentially a J.D.
