Romola

Hi! My name is Romola, and I’m an applied math major in the Engineering School at Columbia University. Alongside math, I’m passionate about writing, bioengineering, finance/investing, the tech industry, and cooking. I’ll be working as a tech investor at a Private Equity company this summer. I’m a published and nationally award-winning writer and 3x published scientific researcher (including a co-first authorship in Nature Reviews Bioengineering), and I’m hoping to become a certified Pilates instructor on the side.

My approach to tutoring is bottoms-up and about understanding why things are right rather than just memorizing answers. I’m excited about tutoring across subjects, but I can be especially helpful in math, writing, SAT/ACT prep (I got a perfect score), and college admissions. I’m excited to meet you!
