Ramiro

Hi! My name is Ramiro (or Ram). I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, and grew up on both sides of the U.S.-México Border.

I’ve been a student in many places throughout my life. I have an AS in Interdisciplinary Sciences, a Minor in Medical Spanish, and a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies, Educational Studies, and Medical Anthropology. I am currently pursuing an Ed.M. in Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and I plan to pursue a PhD afterward.

I have extensive experience in college access initiatives, multi-purpose writing, tutoring, and leadership development and communication. In the last three years, I’ve published an international, bilingual reporting project with the Pulitzer Center, authored and presented policy briefs in Congress, and launched a virtual college admission and resource webinar series for high school aged students.

Outside of all that, I also enjoy cooking good food and listening to music (mostly Spanish jajaja). Happy to be at Princeton Tutoring, and looking forward to helping your child with anything related to college applications, English, Reading, Writing, Communication Skills, or anything else my skills could be of help with!
