Hello! My name is Rachel, and I am an undergraduate at Princeton University pursuing an A.B. in English, with minors in classics (Greek language), humanistic studies, and European studies. I also study premedical coursework.
I am an experienced mentor to undergraduate and graduate students on papers (humanities/STEM), dissertations, and fellowship applications in Princeton’s Writing Center, as well as advisor on college admissions essays. Subjects I tutor include English, History, natural sciences, and SAT prep.
Having an interdisciplinary background, I encourage students to build connections within and across fields. I aim to make concepts accessible and approachable, bringing a student’s unique academic interests and strengths to a lesson. I believe in using patterns and content synthesis for deeper, more memorable learning!
Off campus, I lead a nonprofit partnering with food pantries across the U.S. I am passionate about food security and food equity, journalism, outdoor walks, and art museums.
