Paulie

Hi there! My name is Paulie. Though I’d describe myself as a bubbly presence who loves to joke and create a warm atmosphere, I have been a serious academic all my life. I have tons of experience with teaching and mentorship, including the SAT (both sections) and college essays.

I’m also very experienced in editing and evaluating writing through my various different writing jobs and positions over the years in addition to my undergrad major, most extensively as the Opinions Chief for the Brown Daily Herald and in my writing for publications like Apogee Journal and Low Altitude.

I have always been involved in advocacy work and believe strongly that all people (and students!) should be free to thrive as themselves in any environment. This helps create a supportive and stress-free environment for all my students. In addition to my work as a tutor, I am pursuing independent filmmaking and writing in narrative spheres as well as non-fiction. You can catch me in New York cycling up and down the city or exploring the local art scene with friends.
