Noreen

My name is Noreen; I am a current PhD student at Rutgers in science technology development. I aspire to help the medical community by developing innovative technological solutions to better aid physicians and patients. Before I started my masters, I had planned to attend medical school afterwards and become a didactic physician. I took my MCAT and applied to multiple medical schools, and I was granted acceptance to many prestige institutions. However, during the course of my masters in Public Health, I fell in love with science technology development and decided to obtain my PhD in the field.

During my education endeavors I have always tutored my peers and younger students. I have always loved to tutor because it not only helps other people, it allows me to sharpen my own understanding of many concepts and topics. Moreover, I aim to not only become one's tutor but also one's mentor. As a mentor I provide encouragement by sharing my own trials and tribulations in hope of instilling confidence in students to persevere. Furthermore, as a tutor I aim to provide my students with a strong foundation in math, sciences, and literature, subjects which I enjoy immensely. My goal is to help my students excel as they develop into young adults.
