Hello! I am a current graduate student of Princeton University in Organic Chemistry and Biocatalysis where I am an NSF Fellow recipient. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida (And as a result have such a deep appreciation for cross cultural diffusion, intersections and just diversity in general!) I then spent my undergrad at Caltech on a full Questbridge scholarship majoring in Chemistry, before moving onto Princeton to focus specifically on organic chemistry. I have been tutoring since my time as a middle schooler and highschooler. In college and graduate school I moved on to also teaching general chemistry and advanced organic chemistry lab and lecture. Outreach was also a major part of my undergrad and made my time in the greater LA area so much more worthwhile by being able to go out and engage with kids of all ages with fun chemistry demos on STEM nights. All in all, I have always loved helping students achieve and recognize their fullest potential. As a result, I’m fairly comfortable with tutoring all age ranges from elementary, middle school, high school to college. My speciality is of course chemistry (honors, AP, college, SSAT, etc. ) but I can definitely help with any level of high school and middle school math as well as biology. I’m pretty energetic at times and I look forward to meeting my future students!

Caltech Undergraduate Research, Stoltz Group (2015 - 2017)
Conducted target-oriented organic synthesis research under Professor Brian M. Stoltz. Project focused primarily on the Total Synthesis of Dimethyl Oxeatamide A, a compound isolated from the Darwinella oxeata sponge in 2015, and a novel synthetic route toward tert-ButylPyOx.
Sumitomo Chemical Company (Summer 2016)
Performed industrial research and development to analyse the degree of hydrophobicity and durability properties of hydrophobic antifouling coating competitor products, and compared them to the Sumitomo Chemical antifouling coating currently under development.
Caltech Undergraduate Research, Haile Group (2013 - 2014)
Conducted research on promoting solid oxide fuel cell efficiency via the optimization of nanodot catalysis under Professor Sossina Haile laboratory of Chemical Engineering and Material Science. Project was titled Metallic Nanoparticles for Hydrogen Electro-Oxidation on Ceria-Based Anodes.

Caltech Chemistry Club Outreach Coordinator and Advisor (2014 -2017)
Direct activities to help encourage interest in the subject of chemistry in grade schoolers in Southern California through thought-provoking chemical demonstrations and interactive discussions. Orchestrated Caltech’s first annual Chemistry Day exposed local high school students to a quiz bowl styled chemistry competition followed by personal tours through several leading chemistry labs present at Caltech.
Caltech Dean’s Advisory Council (2016- 2017) “To help act as a sounding board for the undergraduate deans, and to provide a venue for you as students to offer suggestions, guidance, and concerns about both academic and non-academic issues and providing a range of feedback on many pertinent issues.”
Off Campus Upper Classmen Counselor (2014 - 2015)
Acted as a student counselor to encourage emotional well-being and provide support during times of stress to Caltech students living off-campus.
