Mike is a PhD candidate studying English literature at Duke University. Before that, he majored in English and Economics at Rutgers University and taught English at a high school in France. Mike has been tutoring the SAT since 2016 (after taking it and scoring a 2340), and has always been passionate about helping other students understand the test and reach their score goals. He’s also helped dozens of students navigate the college admissions process and craft compelling application essays. Mike has also tutored the LSAT for several years, having scored in the top 1% when he was (briefly) considering applying to law school. In his spare time, he loves hiking, travel, and creative writing.
