Hi! I’m Max, and I’m a screenwriter who graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Arizona, studying English Literature and Film.
I’ve been helping students and writers hone their craft for years, both through tutoring college essays and working as a writing consultant for a professional screenwriting company, where I assisted literally hundreds of writers, at all levels, to hone their craft and improve their screenplays, short stories, and essays. My own professional writing experience has been in television, where I wrote several episodes of the hit HBO Max show, SUPERMAN & LOIS, and now work on TULSA KING, on Paramount Plus.
But as much as I love telling stories myself, I’m equally passionate about helping students tell their own at the best of their ability, by working with them to not just improve their writing skills, but their reading and organizational skills.
When I’ve got a moment of downtime, I love to cook, read, go to the movies, and take endless hikes around Los Angeles with my cocker spaniel.
