Marion

Hailing from the northern suburbs of Chicago, I am a Princeton undergraduate who loves baking, traveling, and photography. Captain of my high school's varsity badminton team and a recreational squash and tennis player, I also enjoy all racquet sports. Academically, math and French have always been my favorite subjects in school, math being the area in which I have the most tutoring experience (from pre-algebra to AP Calculus). Since being at Princeton, I have tutored all sections of the SAT as well and am happy to tutor such standardized tests as the SAT, PSAT, and AP exams, etc. Moreover, I truly understand the difference it makes in the students’ success and attitude when the tutor is caring and tries to make a connection and personal relationship with the student. As I was preparing to take standardized tests, I was fortunate enough to work with a tutor with whom I connected and felt that he sincerely cared how I performed on the exams by exuding great confidence in me. Based on this personal experience, I know what a difference an invested tutor can make in the student's experience. With every student I tutor, I try to embody the same traits that my aforementioned tutor exemplified.
