Hi, my name is Lia! I’m a graduate of Princeton University, where I earned a degree in the School of Public and International Affairs with a minor in Journalism. I currently work as a journalist in New Jersey, where I was born, raised, and have lived my entire life.
I have extensive experience with college applications and essay tutoring, helping students navigate the application process, develop their writing, and build confidence in their own voices. I’ve also worked with students from a variety of backgrounds, including first-generation college applicants. In addition to college admissions and essay writing, I specialize in reading, writing, grammar, literature, psychology, history, public policy, and government.
As a tutor, I aim to make learning exciting and accessible. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and being themselves as they grow.
Outside of work, I enjoy trying new coffee shops and restaurants, traveling, reading, hiking, playing pickleball, and going to the beach. I’m also a big fan of musical theater and making playlists on Spotify!
