Lara

Hi! My name is Lara, and I’ve spent several years teaching and working with students one-on-one. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a master’s in Education from Harvard, where I also served as a Course Assistant. I primarily tutor test prep (SAT, SSAT) and math.

I have extensive private tutoring experience and have even designed and taught multiple digital SAT prep courses. In anonymous student feedback, 100% of participants agreed the course improved their skills in both math and English and said they would recommend it to a friend. I also stay sharp by regularly taking digital SAT practice exams myself, consistently scoring between 1570–1600. This gives me a deep understanding of the exam and how to help students pinpoint their strengths and areas for growth.

Education has always been a calling for me. One of my long-term dreams is to create a school that provides high-quality education to all students, regardless of background.

When I’m not teaching, I love hosting game nights with friends, cooking, working out at CrossFit, watching old movies, and playing board games. I’m excited to be part of the Princeton Tutoring team and can’t wait to support our amazing students!
