Katherine

Hi all! I am a Persian-Filipina first-generation American born in NYC and raised in New Jersey. With seven years of tutoring experience in standardized test preparation, mathematics, and Spanish, I have developed the skills to create unique and individualized tutoring plans for my students that have yielded extremely positive results. In my sessions with students, I work on a micro and macro level focusing both on their specific questions and helping them to establish an approach to academics and a set of skills that will benefit them for years to come. I enjoy tutoring because it is a unique opportunity to connect with a student on an academic and mentoring level. I find great joy in helping students achieve their goals and then watching them share their knowledge and skills with others. Throughout my seven years of tutoring I have kept in touch with many of my students as a mentor and continue to offer my advice.

I have interned on Wall Street as an Operations Summer Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in NYC and joined the firm as a full-time Analyst in their 2-year Operations Analyst Development Program (OADP). I later moved to Paris to earn a pastry diploma from Le Cordon Bleu.

With a background in ballet, classical piano, and volleyball I enjoy all forms of dance and music, and believe fitness and wellness of both the body and mind are of the utmost importance!

I look forward to meeting and working with new students!
