My name is Kaity, and I’m an undergraduate student at Cornell University. I major in industrial and labor relations and triple minor in anthropology, business, and leadership. I am interested in workers’ rights and human resources consulting, which I pursue as a business intern for Boeing. I am also fascinated in the humanities (specifically literature and music) and pursue these interests as a member of Cornell’s Humanities Scholars Program. Additionally, I am a Cornell Meinig Family National Scholar, which allows me to develop my leadership skills through lectures, training, and service projects within my community.
Prior to attending university, I grew up playing sports (soccer, lacrosse, and volleyball) as well as competitively dancing. I brought my passion for dance with me to college and am currently a member of the Cornell University Dance Team, a team that performs at home football/basketball games as well as competes in the Universal Dance Association’s national collegiate competition at Disney World. In addition, I am the lead program assistant at a non-profit organization that teaches dance and literacy skills to children (called Ballet and Books), so I truly get to express this passion of mine in many different ways!
In the rest of my free time, I enjoy cooking, thrift shopping with my friends, listening to Taylor Swift, and watching reality TV. I love tutoring because I am eager to share my knowledge with others in a way that gives them the confidence to tackle a problem/subject that they’ve been struggling with. Usually students already have the power to overcome adversity within them, it’s just a matter of pulling those skills out and building on them!
I offer my services in the subjects of history, English, and civics, at any grade level, as well as middle-school science. I also offer college application/essay help. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I wish you the best of luck on your academic journey!
