Hello! My name is Jennifer and I have been an educator for over 25 years. I have always loved working with young people of all backgrounds and abilities. I truly believe that anyone can tap into unknown potential when challenged appropriately. I have been a PSAT/SAT instructor for 15 years, and am proud to say that during my tenure, over 90% of my students have seen an increase of, at minimum, 100 points post coursework. This is across the board, whether they came in as struggling students or highly successful ones looking for the most competitive scores. Getting a higher score isn’t just about the subject area, it is about learning and applying test-taking strategies that work!
My areas of expertise also include American and British Literature (where I have a master’s degree), college essay writing, AP Language and Literature, and AP Language and Composition. Additionally, I have a lot of experience grading AP tests through my work with the College Board.
I am a mother of two children, one who will be going off to college next year and the other a special needs child who definitely needs out-of-the-box care. I am a passionate martial artist (3rd degree black belt) and dedicated yogi. I believe you are never too old or too young to pursue what is important to you and that we should all be growing and evolving all the time!
