I'm a Princeton undergraduate hailing from the suburbs of Boston. Before moving to the Boston area at the start of middle school, I lived in Seoul, South Korea for 10 years.

I'm interested in tutoring because I believe that effective one-on-one teaching can make even the most difficult subjects accessible to all students. As a passionate musician, I began my teaching experience in music classrooms as a volunteer, working in Boston inner-city schools that had cut their arts programs; while I have since tutored in academic subjects, my musical volunteer experience has been critical in my development as a teacher, as I learned what it means to get to know a student personally and cater to their individual needs. I am most comfortable teaching writing and grammar in the context of standardized tests based on my prior experience in tutoring, but I also have a strong background in statistics and math.
