Hi, I’m Helen! After studying Architectural Design at Stanford, I pivoted from the world of architecture/engineering to become a professional writer. I have worked as a grant writer for a nonprofit serving homeless youth, a public relations consultant, and the communications director for my church.
In my spare time, I love to read, run, hike, and travel! I have hiked 41 out of the 59 Colorado fourteeners (mountains over 14,000 feet tall) and completed two half marathons, and two of my lifelong goals are to one day run the Boston Marathon and hike Mount Rainier in Washington State!
I have always loved working with children, teens, and young adults and have done so as a summer camp counselor, a school volunteer, and a mom to my two young children. I especially love to tutor College Essays, Test Prep, and English.
