Gregory

Greg is an academic tutor and college consultant who has spent over a decade working closely with students and families navigating competitive academic paths. He specializes in literature, writing, and the humanities, and especially enjoys discussion-based learning that helps students build confidence in how they think, speak, and write.

Over the years, Greg has supported students from early education through the college admissions process, helping them make thoughtful decisions about coursework, standardized testing, extracurriculars, and application strategy. His students have gone on to attend schools such as the University of Pennsylvania, Brown University, Deerfield Academy, Lawrenceville, and The Hotchkiss School—but just as importantly, they leave his sessions as clearer, more independent thinkers.

In addition to one-on-one tutoring, Greg has designed and taught courses in AP Literature, AP U.S. History, IB Global Politics, and SAT/SSAT preparation, with many students seeing significant improvements in both scores and overall academic confidence. His approach combines structure and rigor with a strong emphasis on mentorship, meeting each student where they are and helping them grow from there.

Greg was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study political science in South Korea and has been involved in education and nonprofit work focused on expanding access to opportunity. His grassroots campaigns have been profiled in international media, including CNN, BBC, and ArtInfo. Outside of tutoring, he is a published cartoonist with over 200 editorial cartoons featured in outlets such as Deadline Hollywood Daily, The Daily NK, and the Union Leader. He enjoys marathon running, serving in his church, and spending time with his family.
