Emma

Hey! I'm Emma from Cincinnati, Ohio. A few things about me: I am a HUGE Classics nerd–I'm obsessed with everything Greek and Latin, all the way from Plato to Vergil. I hope to be a Classics concentrator at Princeton with certificates in Humanistic Studies and History and the Practice of Diplomacy!
Writing is also my thing: I used to run my school’s paper The Talon (where I also wrote satire) and the newspaper for my local government. Now I write for the Daily Princetonian as an opinion columnist. One of my overarching goals in life is to promote understanding and empathy among different classes and communities, and writing is the best avenue for me to do that.
Some miscellany: I play cello and the upright bass for fun, read The Onion in my spare time, and rewatch Season 2 of The Office way too often. I also love sci-fi—Star Wars, Star Trek, Interstellar—and anything written by Arthur C Clarke or Heinlein.
Looking forward to meeting you!
