Hey guys! My name is Emerson and I'm a native New Yorker with extremely diffuse academic interests who is intent on working in government and public policy after graduation. I enjoy backpacking, flailing around on the basketball court, and reading obnoxiously large books in public places. In my spare time I try to tutor as much as possible–be it in math, history, writing, or Latin– because I love trying to wrap my mind around complex topics in order to explain them simply.
