Elisabeth

Hey everyone! My name is Elisabeth (Lizzie), and and I am an incoming M.D. candidate at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. I graduated from Haverford College with a B.S. in Biology and double minors in Neuroscience and Health Studies.

I am passionate about teaching and have over 10 years of experience providing group and individual tutoring sessions for K-12 and undergraduate students. I especially enjoy working with elementary and middle school students as I love working with kids and aspire to become a pediatric dermatologist. I also am actively involved in disability advocacy and have experience tutoring students with special needs and learning disabilities.

I take pride in fostering a positive, fun learning environment and specialize in a wide array of academic subjects, standardized test prep (SAT/ACT/SSAT), and college essays. I am particularly proficient in college essay tutoring with extensive editing and writing experience as a prior editor-in-chief for a writing company. I have a genuine passion for guiding students through the intricate process of crafting compelling college essay narratives that encapsulate their academic journey, aspirations, and identity.

Outside of academics, I love fashion, traveling, photography, poetry, cooking, and architecture & design (yes, I shamelessly subscribe to Architectural Digest). Fun fact, I collect vinyls!
