Devorah

I have been tutoring since early in high school, which I did primarily through a peer tutoring program at the school and also for other students in my home town. I feel my strongest tutoring skills are in math and science at the high school level and SAT/ACT prep. I like tutoring because I appreciate looking at concepts from multiple angles and therefore enjoy trying to understand ideas through the lens of the student. I find this very useful in successfully helping them. In my free time I enjoy ice skating and spending time outdoors. I am pursuing a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, and I am interested in a career in a bioengineering or environmental engineering field, as I want to use technical skills and creativity to contribute to scientific advancement.
