David

Hi! I’m David, and I studied applied mathematics and physics at Harvard University. Education is incredibly important to me, as I’ve completed over 4000 hours of tutoring. I’ve been deeply involved in tutoring for the past 4 years, and I hope to continue working in academia.

Growing up in a small, rural part of Georgia, I had big dreams, and I fulfilled them by becoming the first student in my high school’s history to be accepted into Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.

I truly enjoy helping students achieve their goals of attending their dream universities. I understand the untapped potential in every student, and I recognize that many lack the guidance and experience necessary for success in the college application process. Hence, my favorite subjects to teach include the SAT, ACT, and the college application process. Fun fact: I aced the math section of the SAT and scored in the 99th percentile for reading. I also passed 13 AP exams.

As a tutor, I strive to ensure that my students truly understand the topics at a deeper level. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in their abilities!

In my free time, I love to exercise. Basketball, running, and lifting weights are my top three favorite forms of exercise.

When I’m not hitting the books or the gym, you’ll likely find me playing video games. My go-to video games are Call of Duty, NBA 2k, and Fortnite. Additionally, chess is my favorite board game—I rarely pass up an opportunity for a game.
