Hey everyone! My name is David, although you can also call me Dave. I graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a BA in history, so I have extensive experience reading primary source material and writing research essays. Outside of the class, I was a film critic for the prestigious “The Daily Californian” newspaper and also wrote for the school’s official human rights review “The Rights Stuff.” I have tutored over 200 students since 2021 ranging in age from kindergarten to college. I especially focused on tutoring test prep, writing, college essay support, and US history, although I have extensive experience additionally tutoring reading, math, and the humanities. When I’m not tutoring, I love to hike all across California and catch as many movies in theaters as possible. I’m psyched to meet you all!
