Hiya! I’m a recent graduate of Harvard College, where I studied Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. Through my tutoring and teaching experience at Harvard, I’ve learned to identify where a student is struggling and help them get a better handle on the material. While I am very willing to explain a concept to students as needed, my teaching style often involves asking students questions to help guide them to the answer on their own. In this way, they develop the skills and self-confidence to do the work even when I’m not there. I’ve consistently received feedback that this approach inspires students to try to do the best that they possibly can. Being able to watch and help in this transformation is why I love my job so much! I am comfortable tutoring students in Math or Physics, as well as helping them prepare for the SAT/ACT. Beyond my job as a tutor, I’m also a certified EMT, and in my free time, I enjoy baking, running, reading, and playing board games.
