Daniel

I am a motivated and compassionate student here at Princeton University and I am very excited about tutoring new students. My experiences working as a counselor at Badger Boys State (BBS) have shown me how fun it can be to work with high achieving high school students and demonstrates my capacity to do so effectively. I have been a counselor for a week long youth leadership program for three years, and each year I learn more about myself as well as about how to make a learning environment fun and inclusive.

I love the outdoors and exploring new places. I enjoy traveling and have been very lucky to have gone on a number of international trips; taking a gap year in Senegal was by far the most powerful of such experiences. My time traveling has sparked a desire in me to learn as much as possible about others and to try to understand things from their perspective, and its probably why I've gotten interested in anthropology here at school! I'm also very interested in sustainability. I grew up off-grid on an organic permaculture farm in Wisconsin so ideas about sustainable living have been floating around my head since I was little.
