Carlota

Hi! I’m Carlota, and I graduated in physics from Princeton University. I am currently working in the Technology Transfer Office at The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Spain, my home country. I have been tutoring and mentoring students for college applications for over five years now. I have also worked as a substitute physics, math, and biology teacher in a private high school and created a full curriculum for a STEM summer program! In my classes I make sure to keep students motivated and focused, and to boost the confidence that is necessary to make them excel. I believe that, to properly apply math and physics to contextual problems, it is critical to understand how concepts relate with each other. Outside work, I enjoy taking my road bike for very long rides and playing with my dog. I am also an avid runner and swimmer, and I hope to complete an ironman one day!
