Ben

My name is Ben and I am a graduate of Princeton University. At Princeton, I studied Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and I am very interested in space systems. In the future, I plan to work as an aerospace engineer and help to design precision imaging satellites. As a tutor, I try to emphasize to my students that it is important to not only complete your homework, but to understand the concepts that enable you to do so. I like to explain how to work through the problems at hand, and also offer the students some insight into the background of the topic and how it might be applied to other situations and contexts. I have multiple years of tutoring, including experience teaching middle school, high school, and college students. I have the most experience tutoring math (anywhere from pre-algebra to calculus) and physics, but I also enjoy tutoring students in history as well. I am excited to be a part of the Princeton Tutoring family and am looking forward to some productive, inspirational, and fun tutoring sessions! Outside of school, I am also an avid runner. I’ve been running competitively (cross country and track) since high school and really enjoy going for long, long runs with my friends! I’m also really into fishing and the outdoors. I like to go on hikes, camp, fish, and all the fun stuff that comes with being outside! Looking forward to meeting you!
