In the age of COVID-19, many teachers and tutors had to scramble to move their instruction online, with mixed results. But I have been perfecting the craft of online teaching and tutoring since 2011. There are real advantages to online tutoring! While my student and I talk to each other in real time, we can look at and write or highlight on the exact same workspace. All of the material we process can be saved as a PDF for later review. This can actually be MORE effective than face-to-face instruction.
