Hi, I’m Anirudh! I’m an undergraduate at UC Berkeley double majoring in Physics and Mathematics. I’ve been tutoring students since the start of high school, and I have always enjoyed supporting others on their academic journeys. My goal with tutoring is not just to share my knowledge with the student but also to inspire them to explore further on their own, which I believe will have the most positive impact on the student.
I can effectively tutor any STEM subject, especially mathematics, which I have taught numerous times in the past. In these subjects, I hope to develop the intuition for answering questions, instead of focusing on memorizing strategies. I served as an instructor for the Math Olympiad at multiple local elementary schools, leading group sessions of more than 20 students. I have also taught Algebra in one-on-one classes to middle schoolers, which gave me experience in adapting to the needs of individual students. I have participated in several math competitions, including the AMC 8, AMC 10/12, and AIME, so I have extensive knowledge of how to reason mathematical concepts using intuition. Additionally, I have a solid understanding of certain humanities courses, such as US and European history.
Apart from academics, I enjoy playing basketball and watching YouTube!
