Amital

Hello! My name is Amital and I’m a current undergraduate at Princeton University studying anthropology. I’m on the pre-medical track, and I’m also interested in global health, religion, plant ecology, and music.

Prior to beginning my degree I studied for two years in Israel. Since beginning my degree, I’ve spent two summers in Uganda interning and doing independent work, as well as a semester abroad doing research in a plant ecology lab in Rehovot, Israel. My experiences abroad inspire my academic work on campus; I find that spending time abroad provides unique opportunities for growth, connection, and learning.

I have many years of experience as a formal and informal tutor, especially as an eldest sibling. I’m a committed and engaged tutor who loves sharing in the experience of learning, and believes that learning can and should be exciting. I’m happy to tutor in a range of subjects including English reading and writing, general chemistry, Hebrew language, and standardized test preparation.

In my free time I enjoy singing with my a capella group, swimming, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
