Hey! My name is Alyssa and I am an undergraduate at Brown University, pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and Public Health.
My favorite aspect of being a tutor is empowering students to challenge themselves and to use their passions to make an impact on their peers. The subjects I tutor include SAT prep, K-12 math, biology, social sciences, and writing (creative & college essay)!
In my free time, I love playing field hockey (I’m a captain of Brown’s club team), hiking, and discovering new music artists. My creative writing has also been published in literary magazines. In the future, I hope to become a clinical psychologist and foster mental health equity across a variety of diverse populations!
