Hello! My name is Allison and I’m a BSE Computer Science major at Princeton University, planning on getting a certificate (aka. minoring) in Engineering Biology, Computational and Quantitative Biology and Statistics and Machine Learning! I’m really interested in the cross-section between the life sciences (biology/chemistry) and computer science, and seeing what new things can be done there!

I have tutored both during in high school, as well as in college, as an official peer academic tutor for Princeton undergraduates. I love teaching and one of my favorite quotes is “non scholae, sed vitae discimus,” a twist on a phrase from the Epistulae Morales written by Seneca the Younger. Roughly translated, it means “We learn not for school, but for life.” I hope to instill my love for learning not just for grades, but for the enjoyment of learning in my students!
