Allison

Hi! I’m Allison, a current medical student at NYU and graduate of Harvard University where I studied psychology and global health. I truly love teaching and have taught everything from SAT prep to cooking lessons with kindergarteners to high school seniors. To me, the best part of tutoring is being able to tailor my teaching style to the way that an individual student learns best. What’s most exciting is when my students have “aha!” moments when they finally grasp a tricky concept. I particularly enjoy helping students with college essay writing, SAT/ACT/SSAT prep, AP Biology, AP English Language & Composition, and AP Psychology. In my free time, I love to bake, knit, play guitar, run, and read.
