Alex

I grew up on a blueberry farm in a small town in rural Maine, so as you might imagine, the outdoors have played an important role in my life. I was very involved in the Boy Scout program, starting in first grade and making it all the way to Eagle Scout. I discovered through Scouting that I love being in the outdoors and teaching outdoor skills. I enjoyed seeing the growth in the younger kids as they went through the program, and I realized once I came to Princeton that I could continue to help others learn new skills and push their boundaries through tutoring. My favorite subjects to teach are test prep, Math, Physics and Spanish, especially since those subjects make up almost all of my coursework here at Princeton.

In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, doing crossword puzzles, tossing a frisbee, playing volleyball, and watching movies in Spanish. I also have a twin brother and make too many bad puns.
