Adam

Adam has over 20 years of experience in the education field. As a guest teacher in the Los Angeles Unified Schools District for 10 years as well as in New York for 4 years, he has taught a variety of subjects including test prep, English, math, science, art, and music from grades K-12.

From 2016-2020, Adam was the NYC Area Director and a Senior Associate Tutor for one of the preeminent tutoring companies in New York. He continues to tutor students on a variety of subjects and standardized exams, specializing in the SSAT, ACT/SAT, ISEE (all levels), SHSAT, ELA, NJSLA, and the CTP-4.

Adam has also been a professional actor since graduating from UCLA’s esteemed School of Theatre, Film, & Television. He’s appeared in dozens of TV shows (The Blacklist, FBI, Billions, Scrubs, to name a few), as well as countless theatre productions – both in New York and around the country. Adam especially loves comedy and tries to infuse humor into his tutoring techniques as much as possible (when it’s appropriate, of course!).

Adam understands how stressful testing (and school) can feel. He uses a calming, but focused approach that builds the student’s confidence as they work toward their goals.
