SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by PrepMaven and Princeton Tutoring (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to clients, parents/guardians, tutors, and other service contacts who have opted in to receive text messages from us.

1. Program Description

By opting in to receive text messages from PrepMaven and/or Princeton Tutoring, you agree that we may send you occasional SMS or MMS messages related to our tutoring, test prep, academic support, and related services.

Messages may include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling reminders and updates
  • Tutoring session logistics
  • Account-related notices
  • Billing and invoice reminders
  • Customer support follow-up
  • Other service-related communications

We do not use this SMS program for unrelated third-party marketing.

2. Opt-In Consent

You may opt in to receive text messages from us by checking an optional SMS consent box on one of our forms, providing verbal consent to a member of our team, texting an opt-in keyword to one of our numbers, or otherwise giving us permission to text you.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you consent to receive text messages from PrepMaven and/or Princeton Tutoring at that number.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing services from us.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your relationship with us and the services you receive. We generally send text messages only when relevant to scheduling, account, billing, or service-related matters.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier related to receiving or sending text messages.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After you opt out, we may send a final confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from that SMS program unless you opt in again.

ClickSend notes that opt-out methods may include replying STOP or using an unsubscribe link, depending on the sender type. ClickSend also states that contacts who opt out are blocked from future messages to that number.

7. Privacy

8. Delivery

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
