Hello! I’m Helena. I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s in English and minors in Creative Writing, Computer Science, and Dance. I love supporting students in reading, writing, math, and computer science — whether you’re looking to up your SAT score, prepare for an AP exam, or supplement your classroom learning. I also enjoy helping students tell their stories in preparation for the college application process. I have experience working with ages ranging from early elementary school through college.
I love tutoring because I know that one-on-one mentorship can be transformative for learning. In the sandbox of a tutoring session, we have room to work through an essay’s argument out loud, build from first principles to understand a mathematical process, or craft a mnemonic together to boost your confidence in the exam room.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, going to ballet class, exploring new hiking trails, and cooking with friends.
