I’m a Statistical Science student with a Finance minor, and math has always been where I feel most useful to other people; there’s a real “click” moment when something confusing suddenly makes sense, and I like being the person who gets to see that happen. I tutor SAT/ACT prep and math, as well as mentor students to help them build real projects, not just review flashcards.
Outside tutoring, I co-founded a live algorithmic trading platform and do quantitative finance research, so I’m especially comfortable connecting math to how it’s actually used in the real world. When I’m not doing that, I’m playing poker, pickup basketball, or the trumpet.
