Kevin

Hi! My name is Kevin, and I am currently studying for my B.A. in Statistics at Williams College, with a concentration in science and technology studies.

I have been tutoring since my freshman year in high school, and I love helping students overcome obstacles in their learning experiences to achieve their goals. I have taught all age ranges from first grade through the end of high school, in all types of subjects, as well as for standardized tests such as the SAT. My passion for tutoring stems from my background as an immigrant; I know firsthand the value of education and the opportunities it can provide, and I want to help provide that value to others. I am hoping to use my statistics degree to initially work in a data science, machine learning, or predictive forecasting related role, and ideally return to school one day to obtain a PhD and work as a professor.

Outside of academics, I am an avid soccer player and watcher, a smoothie and açaí bowl enthusiast, and after a year abroad at the University of Oxford, an aspiring tiddlywinks competitor.
