Jacqueline

Hi, I’m Jackie! I graduated from The University of Chicago with a Bachelors of Arts in Biological Sciences and minor in Health & Society. I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago, and am pursuing an MD at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. I’ve been in teaching and tutoring roles for over 5 years, working with students across a variety of subjects, including SAT prep. I believe that every student learns differently, and that understanding often comes down to finding the right explanation. When a concept doesn’t click right away, I view it as a cue to adjust my approach and find an explanation that resonates better. I strive to meet students where they are, and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material.

Outside of teaching, I have research experience in microbiology, public health, and clinical quality improvement—subjects I’m always happy to discuss with interested students. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, photography, and exploring Chicago!
