Jessie has over eight years of tutoring experience and a long-standing passion for mentoring and teaching students of all ages. She began in high school, providing private one-on-one at-home tutoring for other students through a tutoring agency. During her undergraduate years, she spent her summers and part-time hours tutoring K–12 students in math and test preparation through various organizations. While completing her undergraduate studies, Jessie published her honors thesis on operating margins in rural hospitals as well as an independent scientific paper that grew out of a science project investigating the dangers of hand dryers.
After graduating, she began a career in pharmaceutical consulting but continued to dedicate her evenings and weekends to tutoring test prep and AP subjects for underserved communities around New York City. She is currently an MPH candidate at Harvard University, studying Health Policy. Jessie is deeply passionate about advancing equitable health policies and aspires to work in academia with the goal of becoming a professor.
In her free time, she enjoys reading literary fiction, crocheting, learning electric guitar, trying new recipes, and playing pickleball.
