With years of experience as a tutor, I have a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My background as a Chemical Engineering major has given me a deep, practical understanding of a wide range of subjects, and I am most comfortable tutoring Chemistry (all levels), Biology, Physics, and Math (through college-level calculus). I also specialize in standardized test preparation and application essay development, including personal statements for medical school.

For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is the one-on-one connection. I love tailoring each session to a student’s unique learning style, working with them to identify specific content gaps and develop a strategy to master the material. There’s nothing better than seeing a concept finally click for a student.

Currently, I am working as an EMT while applying to medical school. I am a first-author published researcher in the sciences with more publications in the pipeline, and I have engaged in global health projects in The Gambia, Uganda, and Thailand. When I’m not studying or tutoring, I enjoy playing basketball, practicing gymnastics, and gardening (ask me about my favorite plant!).
