Hi! My name’s Wilder, and I’m here to help your student with their academic goals! I specialize in the following subjects: college essay writing, SAT/ACT prep, English/Reading/Writing, and History.
A great college essay is a great story. At Stanford, I won school-wide awards for my essay writing. Professionally, I’ve helped young writers workshop their stories, and evaluated top Hollywood scripts and pitches. I’m here to listen to your student, figure out what makes them special, and help craft their achievements and passions into an authentic, memorable story.
I also tutor SAT/ACT in all subjects. I scored a perfect score in Reading/Writing, and a 780 in Math. Through my philosophy background, I’m an expert in careful logic and clear reasoning. I can train your student in the soft skills of test-taking, and help them ace that next standardized test.
I love the arts, especially music, painting, and theater (I wrote a Shakespeare musical in college!), and I’m working towards being a film writer. I want to create an engaging, tailored tutoring experience that will have your student excited to come back every week!
