Hey! My name is Alyssa and I am an undergraduate at Brown University, pursuing my B.A. in Public Health and Psychology.
I primarily tutor for college admissions, and my absolute favorite part of being a college essay tutor is empowering students to tell their stories! I love working with students as they challenge themselves, find their authentic voices, and prepare for their future goals. I have extensive experience in tutoring for college admissions and have helped students gain admission to schools like Johns Hopkins University, UC Berkeley, and Rutgers.
In my free time, I love playing field hockey, running (I recently raced my first half marathon!), hiking, reading, and attending concerts. I also am active in several research labs, and I write for the Brown Daily Herald’s literary magazine, post-. Once I graduate from Brown, I will pursue a career in social work, where I hope to design programs to support recovery from substance use and trauma.
