My teaching experiences range from private tutoring for math, reading, piano practice, and music theory to developing my own teaching curriculum to teach English in Taiwan while working with Americans Dedicated to Voluntary English Teaching (ADVENT) this past summer. I am also involved in general college counseling and helping with personal statements. My goal as a tutor is to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of topics so that they can use the knowledge to their advantage. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy photography, traveling, hiking, and skiing. I am also very passionate about the arts and have played piano for more than fifteen years and participate in theater. My future career goals involve working with nonprofits and potentially in the media industry.
